Passionate Focus 2012

Our 10th annual Passionate Focus art exhibit will be held May 3-25, 2011. We are currently accepting applications from artists to exhibit in this show. Applications can be downloaded or obtained by contacting Cheryl Megurdichian.

The applications will be reviewed by a jury of professionals, who will select the pieces to be included in the exhibit. This year's jurors are:

  • Lisa Dorin, Associate Curator
    Department of Contemporary Art
    The Art Institute of Chicago

  • Michael Ensdorf, Associate Dean, Arts and Sciences
    Professor, Dept. of Communication
    Founder/Director, Gage Gallery
    Roosevelt University

  • Scott Sikkema,Education Director
    Chicago Arts Partnerships in Education (CAPE)

The opening reception for Passionate Focus 2012 will be on May 3 at the Arts Club of Chicago. The evening will include an auction of the art exhibited in the show, a chance to meet exhibiting artists, a silent auction with great prizes, wonderful food and a vibrant atmosphere.

The exhibit will be on display for public viewing from May 7-31 at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.

The 2011 art exhibit brought together the work of 19 artists. The work included a variety of media and artistic vision. The artists were from eight different states and two Canadian provinces.
