RP Support Group

The Guild's RP support groups meet the second Monday evening of the month from 5:30 to 7:00 pm and the second Tuesday afternoon of the month from 1:30 to 3:00 pm.

Topics for upcoming groups are:

  • Planning for the Future: Practical considerations to think about for your future. (July 11 and 12)

  • Stick Stigma: To Use a Cane or Not to Use a Cane: A certified orientation and mobility specialist (COMS) discusses why using a cane truly is a benefit. (August 8 and 9)

  • I Have an Announcement to Make: What to do when you can no longer hide the fact that you have significant vision loss and are now ready to publicly face this aspect of your life. (September 12 and 13)

  • Turning into a Pumpkin: Will I make it back before dark? (October 10 and 11)

  • Great Expectations: You are looking forward to participating in an event, but then realize the challenges it takes to do so. (November 8 and 14)
