Frank Valliere

Born in Maryland, raised in New England, and educated at two fine Boston art schools, I have exploredmy many interests in a wide range of mediums. For the past twenty years, I have worked as a multi-purpose illustrator, designer, and fabricator in mixed mediums including jewelry, accessories, furniture, landscaping, toys and bicycles.

The bulk of my private study deals with a life long interest in the rural landscape.

I'm taken in by the different atmospheres, the random patterns, colors, and other visually occurring events: old buildings, vehicles, and other objects of the human existence, left to the environment, that seem to be telling their stories… where they've been, what they've done, and what they're doing now, as they settle in for the long haul, taking on more and more the character of their surroundings – the harsh beautiful truth.
