Guest speaker, Cilla Sluga, from the IL Assistive Technology Program will present “Getting a Yes from Medicaid and Insurance Companies.
Guest speaker, Krista Erickson, from the Lake County Center for Independent Living, will discuss the “Department of Rehabilitation Services’ Elder Blind Grant…Vision Aids and Vision Solutions.
Vendor exhibits for various assistive devices will be on display for you to learn about the latest gadgets that can help meet your individual needs. Come and take advantage of a hands-on opportunity to see these products in person and to talk directly to a company representative before making your decision to purchase them.
The Guild’s Consumer Product Center will be open that day for attendees to purchase items we carry from 2:00 pm-2:30 pm. Personal checks, credit cards and cash are all welcome.
