Before becoming legally blind, I was a professional fashion photographer in Chicago during the 1980s and early 1990s. Since my vision loss, I continue to create unique portraits that possess a fashion sensibility. Through the use of photography as my artistic medium, I express the high contract I experience in my own vision, between the hot white areas of light and the deep shadows with faint hints of detail."
The Runway $400 "In my photograph 'The Runway,' I capture the excitement and action of a fashion show. As the model turns the corner of the runway she lifts her skirts at it balloons in a flurry of motion. But the real subjects of this photograph are all the people in the audience who are captivated by this fast moving spectacle."
Masquerade $400 SOLD "'Masquerade' encapsulates the decisive moment when the mask is dropped and the glance of a very glamorous woman dressed in black peers at use over the mask which casts a butterfly shadow across her chest."
Pacific Coast Highway Joyride $500 "The wild thrill of a fast convertible speeding along the California coast is portrayed in 'Pacific Coast Highway Joyride.' An exuberant laugh and a gleeful gracefulness prevails in this portrait of a woman enjoying a very exhilarating night drive along the balmy pacific coast."
