Emulating The Ocean Sound $1,200 Paul's work focuses less on fine detail and more on compelling color tones and elegant composition, and his designs are often free of any focal point. He creates his paintings on rigid sheets of aluminum that have been chemically treated to allow the oil to adhere to the metallic surface. Paul's artistic goal is to invoke a mood, but invite viewers to interpret what they see. One person's sky may be another's ocean; in this sense, the work of art is not only the painting itself, but also the viewer's unique perception of the piece."
