Linn Sorge

Linn has been totally blind since birth. She independently designs all her own projects, measures her warp, threads her loom, winds the warp threads on, and does all of the weaving.

Joy of a Four-Leaf Clover $800

The combination of the two yarns and colors within this intricate pattern symbolizes a worthy friendship. I chose to gain more of a 3-dimensional feeling in the piece when framing it because it then has much more depth and appeal when enjoying it with one's fingertips.

All art that is not marked as ‘SOLD” is available for purchase. If you are interested in any of these pieces, please contact Cheryl Megurdichian at 312-236-8569 or cherylm@guildfortheblind.org. For each piece purchased, 70% of the purchase price goes to the artist, 20% goes to the Guild, and 10% goes to Fourth Presbyterian Church, which is hosting the exhibit. For tax purposes, 30% of the purchase price is considered a charitable donation.
